The mentoring program of women in ip e.V. is aimed at women who are interested in a career in IP, as well as women who have already chosen a career in this field and want to reorient themselves.
women in ip brings mentors and mentees together in a tandem for twelve months. The mentorship begins with a kick-off event with all tandems, which is also the closing ceremony of the previous mentoring program and thus enables the exchange of experiences between the different cohorts of the mentoring program.
The mentoring is exclusive for members of women in ip. It involves a cost contribution of EUR 180 for the mentee (reduced to EUR 100 for trainees/candidates).
The mentor has many years of professional experience in intellectual property law. In dialog with your mentor, you will learn to better assess your own abilities and receive support in developing them further. A trusting exchange offers the opportunity to reflect on weaknesses and difficult situations, to learn how to deal with them better and to work out solutions. The support of the mentor strengthens your self-confidence in your own abilities. You train your social skills, such as communication skills, self-management, conflict management and team competence. Expand your “informal” knowledge of structures, rules of the game, tips and tricks for everyday professional life.
Due to the great demand on the part of women entering the profession, we are always on the lookout for women who have professional experience in the field of commercial legal protection and would like to pass on their valuable experience as a mentor.
The Mentoring Program 23/24 will start in May/June this year. Applications as mentor and mentee are still gladly accepted.
